The
Year
Long Event Offers the
Community the Chance to Celebrate!
The
City of Los Alamitos will officially celebrate its 50th
Anniversary during the year 2010. A committee of community
volunteers has been hard at work since September 2009 planning a
calendar of events with the goal of involving as many community
members in the celebration as possible.
It
will be an exciting time for all and truly a milestone in our
City’s history. There is much to celebrate about Los Alamitos…from
our excellent Police Department that has the fastest response time
in Orange County, to our outstanding School District that has
produced many scholars and accomplished athletes. To be celebrated
as well is the unique small town ambiance that is fostered through
the philanthropic efforts of the City’s many non-profit
agencies, and the generous spirit of businesses and residents
toward the health and well being of our children.
